The Maine Department of Transportation wants you to know about these construction projects happening in the Maine Mall area, South Portland:

Maine Mall Road is being reconstructed between Philbrook Avenue and Gorham Road. There will be lane closures – so delays are possible. Motorists going to the mall and other area businesses can avoid the construction zone altogether by using Philbrook Road or Gorham Road. 
<Pause>
On I-295 between Exits 3 and 4, lanes are being added to the northbound and southbound sides to improve safety and traffic flow. Also, a sound barrier is being constructed on the northbound side. As work continues, nighttime lane closures will occur.
